And... Just before my flight back to SG... Spent the morning at Spring Valley Nature Sanctuary, Schaumburg.

wah your pics very nice indeed. D70 definitely good investment! You have spurred me on to continue saving up for the Canon 350D. Saving up for it has left me feeling financially 'tight' and sometimes i just want to give up. But now i have renewed zest again!
Yes, it is. The only issue about it is that, well, sometimes you won't want to bring it out daily - something I discover in Cambodia, but good thing was there were other cams around... heh... The other issue is that... Well, my hand luggage will only have 2 type of equipment in it - laptop and cam!!! And it still weighs over 7kg!!
